JS House
This sea view house demonstrates why ANVANA is one of the most sought-after among Costa Blanca architects. We serve residents with luxury design that embraces individualism, seizing every opportunity to create unforgettable spaces.
Perched between the majestic mountains and the Mediterranean Sea, this luxury pool house stands as a tribute to the art of eclecticism. ANVANA Architects took on the full concept of this project, fulfilling the architectural design, interior design, and landscape design.
Inspired by the homeowner's extensive travels, our architects harmoniously blended classical elements with Arabic and Moroccan motifs throughout the home’s high-end design, elevating them with modern sensibility and a truly unique artistic vision.
We’ve placed an Arabic-style entry gate at the head of an enchanting open-air corridor, which serves as the bridge between the main house and this new addition. Stately palms and oriental lanterns light the path toward a revivalist pavilion, designed with a contemporary take on classical Mediterranean aesthetics.
To the side, one is met with the heart of this oasis: a 17-meter mosaic pool, boasting a panoramic sea view, as well as an infinity waterfall that cascades into the serene courtyard below. There, we’ve made the fall the focal point of the landscaping, framed with open-fire sconces, moody outdoor lighting, and lush garden plantings.
The pool house interior is a celebration of unexpected contrasts, embodying the character of rebellious glamor. Richly patterned Spanish marble spans both horizontal and vertical surfaces, meticulously finessed with moldings and metallic accents. AC vents are cleverly concealed within ornamental motifs, echoing the gold detailing that runs along the upper walls, which reach as high as 400 cm.
In the living room, turning the eye upward reveals a grand cupola dome. Its interior shines with metallic warmth, punctuated by a delicate chandelier. Eicholtz furnishings take center stage below, reflecting the same gold tones and sumptuous textures present throughout the space.
Entering the kitchen, two floating marble columns stand at the sides. We chose a pitched ceiling to add angularity, complemented by the space’s sleek lines, shine, and subtle use of mirrors. To contrast the contemporary flair, our designers suspended the owner’s prized antiques on the walls. In this way, we introduce old-world charm, but with a surprising twist.
Violet hues make a recurring appearance, intertwining with dramatic lighting installations to create a mesmerizing visual experience. This extends to the outdoors, where the home’s architectural elements are spotlighted in the dreamy hue.
Our architects championed a symmetrical design, abiding by disciplined commitment to preserving a clear visual axis throughout the structure. Large 330 cm windows are placed in mirrored positions across each space, maintaing lines of sight in every direction to capitalize on both interior and outdoor views. Even from the furthest point of the home’s central structure, the viewer’s eye can still travel through the entire space, out to the pool deck. With this visual continuity, the owner and their guests can always remain connected to the beauty of the seascape outdoors.
To contrast against the home’s rich, vibrant color palette, our designers chose subdued tones of cool gray for the exterior. This choice mirrors the gray accents found in the interior, unifying the concept within a modern presentation.
